Recently, the ABS special blister tray for building toolboxes, jointly developed by HILTI, a leading global brand in the construction industry, and Suzhou Swellder Plastic Industry, has entered the mass production stage. This innovative product combines HILTI's professional demands in the field of construction tools with Svelde Plastic's core advantages in thick sheet vacuum forming technology, aiming to provide the construction industry with more efficient, environmentally friendly and safe tool transportation solutions.
Cooperation background: Strong alliance, responding to industry demands
As a Construction equipment giant headquartered in Liechtenstein, HILTI has always taken "Making Construction Better" as its mission and is committed to enhancing the efficiency and safety of construction sites through digital, lightweight and sustainable technologies. Swellder Plastic Industry has been deeply engaged in the thick sheet vacuum forming field for nearly 20 years. Its ABS material application technology is mature, and its products cover multiple industries such as automobiles, electronics, and medical care, featuring moisture-proof, anti-corrosion, and lightweight properties. This collaboration targets common issues such as friction damage, insufficient seismic resistance and environmental protection standards in the transportation of construction tools, and achieves breakthroughs through customized design.
Product highlights: Technological innovation and functional upgrade
Material and process innovation
The tray is made of ABS+TPU composite material and undergoes high-temperature baking and precise vacuum forming processes, effectively solving the problems of traditional trays such as whitening and cracking. The surface TPU layer can withstand high-temperature cleaning at 80℃, ensuring no debris falls off during long-term use. Meanwhile, the lightweight design of materials reduces transportation costs, meeting HILTI's demand for "efficient handling" of tools and equipment.
Security and adaptability
The tray structure is optimized through 3D simulation to perfectly adapt to the shapes of HILTI electric drills, measuring instruments and other tools. Anti-vibration modules are added inside to reduce the risk of collision during transportation. In addition, the anti-static design prevents damage to precision electronic tools, meeting the requirements of high-end construction sites in industries such as semiconductors and energy.
Environmental Protection and Sustainability
The product is made of recyclable ABS material, which aligns with HILTI's "Reducing TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)" strategy. It supports mechanical recycling and regeneration, helping the construction industry reduce its carbon footprint.
Mass production has started: Digital production ensures efficiency
Swellder Plastic Industry relies on fully automatic thick plate vacuum forming machines and CNC precision processing technology to achieve seamless connection from mold development to mass production. At present, the Suzhou factory has launched a dedicated production line with an average daily capacity of 5,000 pieces. The first batch of orders will be prioritized for HILTI partners in the Asia-Pacific region and applied to large-scale infrastructure and offshore wind power projects.
With the advancement of the "dual carbon" goals, the joint innovation between Sverde and HILTI may set a new benchmark in the field of construction tool packaging and accelerate the industry's transformation towards green and intelligent development.
