A vacuum-formed anti-static cover is a plastic protective cover manufactured through a vacuum forming process. It is primarily used to cover, protect, and isolate static-sensitive electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBAs), precision instruments, or equipment, preventing damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD) during production, transportation, and storage.

 

1. Looking for a quick and economical solution:

Making an injection mold can cost tens or even hundreds of thousands of yuan, and you'll have to wait a month or two. Vacuum forming molds (mostly made of aluminum or high-grade resin) are much cheaper, costing just a few thousand, and samples can be ready in a matter of days. These are particularly suitable for customers who need to produce thousands of units in batches or frequently change designs.

 

2.The size can be very large:

If you want to make a large cover that can cover an entire tray of circuit boards, the injection molding machine may not be able to do it, but the vacuum forming machine can easily handle it.

Wire Management: Route cables and secure them with cable ties or cable ties.
Switch/Display Installation: Attach or secure switches, screens, etc. to the panel.
Sensor/Light Bar Installation: Precisely secure optical or sensing components.
Interior Parts Installation: Apply cushioning or decorative materials such as sponge, EVA, or velvet to the inside of the packaging.
4. Finishing and Decoration: Treatment of blister parts before, during, or after assembly.
CNC Trimming: Uses CNC machines to precisely remove excess flash or material. This method is more flexible than punching dies and is suitable for small batches or prototypes.
Surface Finishing:
Painting: Applying color, rubberized paint (tactile paint), and UV-resistant coating.
Printing: Silk screen printing, pad printing, and digital printing are used to print logos, logos, and text. Vacuum Plating: Chrome plating, gold plating and other metal effects.
